High school girls get a look at how state government works |

One hundred high school students from the region spent Tuesday with 50 state legislators as part of the Women and Girls Foundation’s GirlGov program. The South Side-based foundation started the program in 2009 to give local teens a chance to experience what it is like to be a state legislator for a day.
