Sydney Altfather is a recent graduate of Chatham University, where she completed a double major in Communications and Women’s & Gender Studies, with a focus on public relations, journalism, and women’s leadership. She has a strong passion for the nonprofit sector, driven by her desire to create a positive impact within her community. Sydney believes that discussing work should come with a smile, reflecting her enthusiasm for her chosen field.
In her spare time, she demonstrates her green thumb by caring for an impressive collection of plants. An avid reader, Sydney enjoys diving into nonfiction books and watching documentaries that expand her knowledge. When she’s not engaged with her phone, she loves spending time camping in nature or exploring thrift shops for unique finds.
In September 2023, Sydney began her internship at the Women and Girls Foundation, where she has remained an integral part of the team, contributing to meaningful initiatives ever since.
