Communications Intern Needed

The Women and Girls Foundation (WGF) is committed to achieving equality for women and girls. We are seeking an intern who shares our passion for equality. The WGF Communications Assistant will work to communicate our overall work, including:  public policy & advocacy efforts, our program for high school girls called GirlGov, our film series Just Films, and fundraising/community engagement events throughout the year.
This is a hands-on position to help further the mission of the Women and Girls Foundation through a variety of communications channels, and will provide substantial experience in social media, website design and maintenance, communications, marketing, and community outreach.
Hours:  12 to 20 hours per week beginning on or close to September 12th; preference will be given to students who can commit to both Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 semesters.    
Compensation:  This internship is suitable for Federal Work Study students or those seeking internship credits.  Stipends outside of the Federal Work Study program are not available at this time.
Location: 100 West Station Square Drive, Suite 315, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 (Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Building; upstairs from the Grand Concourse Restaurant at Station Square)
