You might need it because you need time to bond with your new baby. Or because your sister has cancer and no one to care for her. Or because your father had a stroke and needs help recovering.
Only 12 percent of United States private sector workers have paid family leave, yet virtually 100 percent will need it – if not for themselves, then for the people they love.
It’s time to make paid family leave a reality for Pennsylvania.
The PA Coalition for Healthy Families and Workplaces (led by PathWays PA and the Women and Girls Foundation) is beginning a statewide campaign to secure paid family leave for all workers across the commonwealth. And we want you to be involved!
